Fear is a powerful force. It is the enemy of success, peace, joy, and happiness. Fear is such that it breaks down and destroys your will, your spirit, and your passion. More people suffer in life because of fear rather than a disease or an inability. In this 180 seconds video Mindset Coach, Rahul Kapoor explains how to overcome this psychological infection.
Please see below for details or links if any on all the above items.
Sincerely,
Mahesh Wadher

1-TO BUILD NEW VIHARDHAMS :
During vihar, our Sadhus and Sadhvis travel on main highways as far as possible. In absence of a vihardham, our Sadhus and Sadhvis are forced to take refuge at a petrol pump, a school, or a factory under less than ideal circumstances. Usually, they travel 15 Km (10 miles) on foot every day. Sometimes they have to travel 2 km off the highway to find a suitable place, and requires to walk back the same distance to return to the point from where they can begin their Vihar onwards. For this reason, Vihardhams every 15 Km or so on main highways would provide safe, secure, and welcoming place that attends to their meals, medical needs or in the event of illness or an accident, a convalescence facility.
The Committee will undertake to build a series of new JAINA Vihardhams with a small Temple, a medical room stocked with Ayurvedic medicines, a hospital-style bed, separate quarters for Sadhus and Sadhvis, Kitchen and dining hall, and rooms for a caretaker and a cook. These JAINA Vihardhams will set a new standard for accessibility, cleanliness, comfort, and Guru Bhakti.
Each new Vihardham is estimated to cost between 50 to 70 lakh rupees. The vaiyavach committee has set a goal of raising $500,000 in the first year. There are plenty of sponsorship opportunities. Individuals will be able to sponsor an entire project or parts of a Vihardham as under

2-VIHARDHAM Sewa :
While doing vihar from one place to the next, Pujyashri stays at vihardham, normally situated on highways. There are about 500 existing VIHARDHAMS, the maintenance and management of which are challenging issues, as it is not much connected with any Sangh. Each vihardham has yearly expenses of Rs 5 lakhs to 10 lakhs, includes- pay for staff, grocery, and other necessities. This is very much needed services.
|
|
3. Medical help :
There is a huge need for medical services for Sadhu Sadhvi Bhagwants in many rural areas where the existing trusts are not able to serve adequately.
|
|
We will be working with very reliable and experienced NGO's who will be giving us details of locations where there is need for constructing Vihardhams across the nation. We will also be getting list of existing Vihardhams where maintanance is required.

Jain philosophy has always had a pragmatic and empirical view of natural phenomena, espouses the belief that the Universe operates based on certain laws that are inviolable. In this sense, it is very similar to current scientific principles. In the ancient Jain literature (400 BC – 800 AD), there are numerous advanced mathematical treatises like set theory, the theory of series and sequences, combinatorics, logarithms, number theory, early algebra and trigonometry, varied concepts of infinite numbers, applications of zeros, astronomy, and logic systems. In the last 100 years, many Indian and non-Indian scholars have performed voluminous research studying varied mathematical topics presented in the ancient Jain scriptures and Jain oral traditions, dating back to 1000 - 2400 years ago. The purpose of this symposium is to elaborate upon new areas of research in the field of Jaina mathematics and to highlight the distinct features of Jaina mathematics in ancient Jain scriptures.

The Gandhi-King Scholarly Exchange Initiative Act
|
|
On December 3, 2020, the House of Representatives passed legislation to establish an exchange initiative between the U.S and India to study the work and legacies of Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr.
The bill is written by the Late Congressman, John Lewis and co-sponsored by Indian American Congressman, Ami Bera, authorizing the State Department, in cooperation with the Indian government, to establish an annual educational forum for scholars from both countries that focuses on the legacies of Mohandas Gandhi and Martin Luther King, Jr.; develop a professional development training initiative on conflict resolution based on the principles of nonviolence; and establish a foundation to address social, environmental, and health priorities in India.
In 2009, Congressman John Lewis led a congressional delegation visit to India to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Dr. King’s pilgrimage to India. Inspired by his visit, Lewis created the Gandhi-King Exchange Act to seek to apply the philosophies of Gandhi and Dr. King, Jr. to conflict resolution efforts and current policy challenges.
The measure authorizes $1 million a year through 2025 for the Gandhi-King Scholarly Exchange initiative. It authorizes $2 million for the FY 2021 for the Gandhi-King Global Academy and $30 million for 2021 for the U.S.-India Gandhi-King Development Foundation.
The development foundation would also be authorized $15 million per year from 2022 through 2025, but only if India’s private sector commits to matching the U.S. government’s contributions.
